Kate Kranack is a certified Usui Reiki Master, certified Shamanic Reiki Master, and Shamanic healing practitioner--using traditional Mayan and Toltec techniques passed down by her elder teachers. She carries the medicine name Teicuih Xiuhtonal, Sister of Light.
Kate received her Reiki Master Teacher training from the Omega Institute, as well as the New York Open Center's School of Holistic and Professional Learning. She is a graduate of Shamanic Fire Reiki's intensive Medicineway apprenticeship program, as well as Shamanic Reiki Worldwide's Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher program. Additionally, she is a licensed, ordained minister in the Order of Melchizedek.
With a long career as a visual artist and Creative Director, Kate has worked with clients such as New York Times bestselling author Marianne Williamson, and renowned "Jeweler to the Stars," Harry Winston. She regularly teaches art and design courses at Parsons The New School for Design, and has a BFA from Cornell University and an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
